Mrs. Helen "Honey" Smaron , age 86, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 in Knoxville, TN.


Mrs. Smaron was a daughter of the late John and Katherine Krevak Zoltun. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Edward Smaron, and daughter-in-law, Sandra Smaron. She was the tenth of her eleven siblings. Mrs. Smaron was retired from Kmart as a cashier and was a member of St. Patricks Anglican Church in Smyrna, TN.


Mrs. Smaron is survived by two sons, Dennis Smaron of Murfreesboro, TN and David Smaron and his wife Tracy of Knoxville, TN; granddaughter, Heather Smaron of Murfreesboro, TN; and sister, Genevieve Gillen of Seattle, WA.


Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Anglican Church, Smyrna, TN. Father Raymond Kasch will officiate. Burial will take place following the funeral at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Murfreesboro, TN.

Donald Edwin Sanders, age 72 of Murfreesboro, Tenn., passed away Tuesday February 24, 2015, with family and friends by his side. A native and lifelong resident of Murfreesboro, TN, he was the son of the late Oscar Leslie Sanders, Sr. and Katherine Eaton Sanders. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Oscar Leslie Sanders, Jr.


Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mancy Victory Sanders; children, Mike Sanders, Amy Williams and her husband Jason, Bernard Hubbard, III, and Beth Hubbard Crabtree and her husband David; grandchildren, Jack Williams, Morgan and Lindsey Hubbard, Ellie and J. Mac Crabtree; sister, Carol Jenkins and her husband, Joe.


Visitation will be Thursday February 26, 2015, from 11: 00 AM to 12:00 Noon at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A Masonic graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with John Palmer officiating. Friends will serve as pallbearers.


Mr. Sanders was of the Church of Christ faith and was a 1960 graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School. He was Master Mason, 32nd degree York Rite mason, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and Shriner. Mr. Sanders retired from BellSouth in 1991 after 30 years of service, as a manager in Business Marketing.

A native and lifelong resident of Murfreesboro, TN, he was the son of the late Oscar Leslie Sanders, Sr. and Katherine Eaton Sanders. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Oscar Leslie Sanders, Jr.


Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mancy Victory Sanders; children, Mike Sanders, Amy Williams and her husband Jason, Bernard Hubbard, III, and Beth Hubbard Crabtree and her husband David; grandchildren, Jack Williams, Morgan and Lindsey Hubbard, Ellie and J. Mac Crabtree; sister, Carol Jenkins and her husband, Joe.


Visitation will be Thursday February 26, 2015, from 11: 00 AM to 12:00 Noon at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A Masonic graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with John Palmer officiating. Friends will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Sanders was of the Church of Christ faith and was a 1960 graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School. He was Master Mason, 32nd degree York Rite mason, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and Shriner. Mr. Sanders retired from BellSouth in 1991 after 30 years of service, as a manager in Business Marketing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Edward Smaron, and daughter-in-law, Sandra Smaron. She was the tenth of her eleven siblings. Mrs. Smaron was retired from Kmart as a cashier and was a member of St. Patricks Anglican Church in Smyrna, TN.


Mrs. Smaron is survived by two sons, Dennis Smaron of Murfreesboro, TN and David Smaron and his wife Tracy of Knoxville, TN; granddaughter, Heather Smaron of Murfreesboro, TN; and sister, Genevieve Gillen of Seattle, WA.


Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mr. Fred L. Williams, age 92, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Alvin C. York Medical Center.


Mr. Williams was a son of the late David Cleophus and Daisy Jane Anthony Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Linnie M. Williams; son, Stephen F. Williams, granddaughter, Rebecca L. Williams; brother, Joe Williams; and sisters, Norma Williams Jernigan and Mildred Williams Locke. Mr. Williams was an avid gardener and loved the sport, golf. He worked for Tennessee Soil Conservation Service where he assisted farmers and retired from Western Electric where he was an equipment engineer. He was an active member at Hillview Baptist Church and was a 60-year Mason at Meigs Lodge in Decatur, TN. Mr. Williams was a member of the U.S. Army during World War II and was a veteran of the European Theater.


Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of 10 years, Elizabeth "Libby" Bennett Jernigan Williams; two daughters, Rachel W. Shelton and her husband David, Mary W. Chamier and her husband Edward all of Atlanta, GA; step-son, Edwin A. Jernigan of Murfreesboro, TN; six grandchildren, John, Russell, Jennifer, Amy, Allen, and Richard; two great-grandchildren, Owen and Anna; and sister-in-law, Lorene S. Williams of Maryville, TN.


Visitation with the family will be Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 11:00am until 1:00pm. A memorial service with military honors will be Saturday, February 21 , 2015 at 1:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Charles McKnight, Bro. W.D. Thomason, and Bro. Owen Ivery will officiate. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
