Janice Hill Moore - Murfreesboro Post


Janice Hill Moore, age 63 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Tuesday July 15, 2014. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Ira and Golden Betterton Hill.Mrs. Moore is survived by a son, Scott Moore; daughter, Ginger Moore both of Murfreesboro, TN; granddaughter, Shanna Honeycutt of Smyrna, TN; brother, Terry Hill; sister, Judy Sanders both of Murfreesboro, TN, and several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Pastor Dave Brown and Reverend Will Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery, Christiana, TN, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Moore attended Immanuel Baptist Church, and was retired from the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department.Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at WOODFIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL. 615-893-5151. Lee Martin Sharber, age 44 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Sunday July 13, 2014. He was a native of Rutherford County. Mr. Sharber was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Martin Sharber, and by a sister, Eva Faith Sharber.


Mr. Sharber is survived by his father and step mother, Leon and Nancy Sharber of Lascassas, TN; brothers, Mark Sharber and his wife Gwen; Kenneth Sharber, William Sharber, all of Murfreesboro, TN, Aaron Sharber, and Jeremy Sharber both of Lascassas, TN; sisters, Angela Sharber Leggs and Rachel Shannon both of Murfreesboro, TN; nephews, Gray Sharber of Chattanooga, TN and Edison Shannon of Murfreesboro, TN; special friend, Leslie Johansen of Lascassas, TN

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Dr. George Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Military friends will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Mr. Sharber was a retired Major from the Tennessee National Guard after 23 years of service, and served three tours of combat duty including Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Bosnia/Kosovo and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
